Download a Kuaishou video from a share link
Kuaishou shares are usually a v.kuaishou.com short link, sometimes wrapped in a block of text with a token. This page covers how both are handled, why a profile URL fails, and what is out of scope.
How it works
- Open the work in Kuaishou, tap Share and choose Copy link — a short link or a share text with a token.
- Paste the whole thing into the VidFable box, unchanged.

A Kuaishou share is sometimes a block of text carrying a token rather than a bare URL. Pasting the whole thing is the reliable move: the server picks out the link and the token itself, and trimming it by hand is a common way to lose the part that identifies the work.
A v.kuaishou.com short link has to be expanded once server-side to obtain the work id. That expansion happens on the server and needs nothing from you.
A work detail page identifies one video and can be parsed. A user profile, the discover feed or a topic page is a listing with no single media item, so it cannot be — this is the most common reason a Kuaishou link fails.
Publicly visible Kuaishou short videos are supported. Private works, friends-only content, deleted works and anything requiring a login are out of scope.
Kuaishou throttles bursts of requests. If a parse times out, wait a few minutes rather than resubmitting the same link, which makes the throttling worse.
If a Kuaishou live replay was kept and published as an ordinary work, it appears on the creator's profile like any other work; open that work and copy its link.
A collection is a listing. Open one work inside it rather than pasting the collection's URL.
