Bilibili usually serves video and audio as two separate streams that have to be merged. VidFable does that merge and hands back a playable MP4. This page covers what is supported, the resolutions to expect, and what never enters the pipeline.
How it works
- Open the video on Bilibili and copy the full URL from the address bar (or the app's share link).

Bilibili's higher-quality sources often split the video and audio tracks; the server fetches and merges them into an MP4. When the source is VP9 or similar, a WebM is offered instead.
Content that requires a premium membership, a paid course, a supporter tier or a permitted region is out of scope — it needs account entitlements, and VidFable never asks for account credentials.
Licensed content such as series and films is subject to the same regional and membership restrictions. Download only what you own or are authorised to download.
Only public, non-DRM content that you own or are authorised to download is processed. Private, paid, login-only and region-locked pages never enter the delivery pipeline.
Bilibili carries ordinary uploads, series, courses and stream replays. Only public uploads that need no account entitlement are supported: series and courses need a premium or paid entitlement, and a stream replay depends on whether the uploader kept it and published it as a post.
A video written with its BV id and the same video written with its av id are one piece of content. Both forms are recognised, with no manual conversion.

No. The delivery is the video file itself, with the audio and video tracks the source provides. Danmaku and subtitles are separate assets and are out of scope.
Can I download a video the uploader deleted?
No. Once a video is deleted or made private the platform stops returning any deliverable media address, and retrying will not help.
