About VidFable
VidFable is an online video parsing and download tool: it turns a public video's share link into a downloadable file. This page covers who maintains it, where the information on this site comes from, what it refuses to do, and who to contact when something goes wrong.
VidFable is a web service with nothing to install, and it does one thing: take a platform share link, work out the highest deliverable resolution that source publicly offers, and hand the file over for download. It does not host video, run a community, or act as a content distributor.
The platform status shown here and on the supported-platforms page comes from scheduled server-side probes: the system actually calls the resolver at intervals and records the outcome, so the status reflects the most recent real probe rather than copy written by hand.
The screenshots and timings in the guides come from walking the whole flow once on a real account, and the resolutions and formats documented there are measured results rather than a specification promise.
What the service refuses to do: it never asks for a platform account, password or cookie; it does not process private, paid, login-only, DRM-protected or region-locked content; it offers no way to bypass a paywall or access control; and it keeps no submitted link content for any other purpose.
Pricing and limits: the free plan parses 3 public links a day with no account; Pro is ¥9.9 a month or ¥109 lifetime for one device; Team is ¥39.9 a month or ¥399 lifetime for up to five devices. A lifetime plan is a one-off payment that never renews.
Delivery and retention: a file is removed from the server as soon as the user's download completes, and anything left uncollected is cleaned up after 24 hours. Temporary delivery links are subject to the same limits.
Known limitations, stated plainly: reaching this site from mainland China crosses a long network path and can be slower than a local service; login-gated YouTube videos depend on the validity of the stored credentials; only public Xiaohongshu video notes can be parsed, since image-only notes contain no video stream; and Bilibili content restricted by region or membership is out of scope.
